libppix-editortools-perl software package provides set of tools for editors to use for manipulating Perl via PPI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libppix-editortools-perl
libppix-editortools-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libppix-editortools-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libppix-editortools-perl *
You will get with libppix-editortools-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
