libpoe-component-client-ping-p software package provides ICMP ping client component for POE, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpoe-component-client-ping-p
libpoe-component-client-ping-p is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpoe-component-client-ping-p package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpoe-component-client-ping-p*
You will get with libpoe-component-client-ping-p package name, version, architecture and description in a table
