libpod-simple-perl software package provides framework for parsing files in the Pod markup language, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpod-simple-perl
libpod-simple-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpod-simple-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpod-simple-perl *
You will get with libpod-simple-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
