libplucene-perl software package provides Perl port of the Lucene search engine, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libplucene-perl
libplucene-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libplucene-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libplucene-perl *
You will get with libplucene-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
