libplist-dev software package provides Library for handling Apple binary and XML property lists, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libplist-dev
libplist-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libplist-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libplist-dev *
You will get with libplist-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
