libpgp-sign-perl software package provides Perl module to create detached PGP signatures, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpgp-sign-perl
libpgp-sign-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpgp-sign-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpgp-sign-perl *
You will get with libpgp-sign-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
