libpgapack-mpi1 software package provides General-purpose genetic algorithm package (mpi library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpgapack-mpi1
libpgapack-mpi1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpgapack-mpi1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpgapack-mpi1 *
You will get with libpgapack-mpi1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
