libpcsclite1-dbg software package provides Middleware to access a smart card using PC/SC (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpcsclite1-dbg
libpcsclite1-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpcsclite1-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpcsclite1-dbg *
You will get with libpcsclite1-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
