libpar-packer-perl software package provides utility for creating PAR archives and stand-alone executables, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpar-packer-perl
libpar-packer-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpar-packer-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpar-packer-perl *
You will get with libpar-packer-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
