libpar-dist-perl software package provides perl module to create and manipulate PAR distributions, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpar-dist-perl
libpar-dist-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpar-dist-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpar-dist-perl *
You will get with libpar-dist-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
