libpadre-plugin-git-perl software package provides simple Git interface for Padre, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libpadre-plugin-git-perl
libpadre-plugin-git-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libpadre-plugin-git-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpadre-plugin-git-perl *
You will get with libpadre-plugin-git-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
