$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libpackage-variant-perl 

libpackage-variant-perl is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libpackage-variant-perl package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libpackage-variant-perl *

You will get with libpackage-variant-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
