libossp-uuid16 software package provides OSSP uuid ISO-C and C++ - shared library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libossp-uuid16
libossp-uuid16 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libossp-uuid16 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libossp-uuid16 *
You will get with libossp-uuid16 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
