libossp-uuid-perl software package provides perl OSSP::UUID - OSSP uuid Perl Binding, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libossp-uuid-perl
libossp-uuid-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libossp-uuid-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libossp-uuid-perl *
You will get with libossp-uuid-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
