libopenni-sensor-pointclouds0 software package provides Microsoft Kinect sensor modules for the OpenNI framework, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libopenni-sensor-pointclouds0
libopenni-sensor-pointclouds0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libopenni-sensor-pointclouds0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libopenni-sensor-pointclouds0 *
