How to uninstall or remove libopencryptoki0 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libopencryptoki0 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libopencryptoki0

Uninstall libopencryptoki0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libopencryptoki0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libopencryptoki0

Use Purging libopencryptoki0

If you use with purge options to libopencryptoki0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libopencryptoki0

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libopencryptoki0
