How to uninstall or remove libobrender29 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libobrender29 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libobrender29

Uninstall libobrender29 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libobrender29 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libobrender29

Use Purging libobrender29

If you use with purge options to libobrender29 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libobrender29

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libobrender29
