libns3-3-dbg software package provides shared libraries of ns-3 (debug extension), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libns3-3-dbg
libns3-3-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libns3-3-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libns3-3-dbg *
You will get with libns3-3-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
