libnl1 software package provides library for dealing with netlink sockets, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnl1
libnl1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnl1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnl1 *
You will get with libnl1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
