How to uninstall or remove libnglib-4.9.13 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libnglib-4.9.13 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libnglib-4.9.13

Uninstall libnglib-4.9.13 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libnglib-4.9.13 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libnglib-4.9.13

Use Purging libnglib-4.9.13

If you use with purge options to libnglib-4.9.13 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libnglib-4.9.13

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libnglib-4.9.13
