libnewt-pic software package provides Not Eriks Windowing Toolkit, shared library subset kit, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnewt-pic
libnewt-pic is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnewt-pic package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnewt-pic *
You will get with libnewt-pic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
