libnettle4 software package provides low level cryptographic library (symmetric and one-way cryptos), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnettle4
libnettle4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnettle4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnettle4 *
You will get with libnettle4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
