libnetcdfc7 software package provides Interface for scientific data access to large binary data, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnetcdfc7
libnetcdfc7 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnetcdfc7 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnetcdfc7 *
You will get with libnetcdfc7 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
