libnet-imap-simple-ssl-perl software package provides Subclass of Net::IMAP::Simple with SSL support, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libnet-imap-simple-ssl-perl
libnet-imap-simple-ssl-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libnet-imap-simple-ssl-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libnet-imap-simple-ssl-perl *
