libmyth-python software package provides A python library to access some MythTV features, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmyth-python
libmyth-python is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmyth-python package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmyth-python *
You will get with libmyth-python package name, version, architecture and description in a table
