libmysqlclient18 software package provides MySQL database client library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient18
libmysqlclient18 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmysqlclient18 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmysqlclient18 *
You will get with libmysqlclient18 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
