libmusicbrainz3-dev software package provides library to access the MusicBrainz.org database (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmusicbrainz3-dev
libmusicbrainz3-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmusicbrainz3-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmusicbrainz3-dev *
You will get with libmusicbrainz3-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
