libmupdf-dev software package provides development files for the MuPDF viewer, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmupdf-dev
libmupdf-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmupdf-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmupdf-dev *
You will get with libmupdf-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
