libmruby-dev software package provides lightweight implementation of the Ruby language (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmruby-dev
libmruby-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmruby-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmruby-dev *
You will get with libmruby-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
