libmodule-install-manifestskip software package provides generate a MANIFEST.SKIP file, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmodule-install-manifestskip
libmodule-install-manifestskip is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmodule-install-manifestskip package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmodule-install-manifestskip*
You will get with libmodule-install-manifestskip package name, version, architecture and description in a table
