libmodplug-dev software package provides development files for mod music based on ModPlug, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmodplug-dev
libmodplug-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmodplug-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmodplug-dev *
You will get with libmodplug-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
