libmlx5-dev software package provides Development files for the libmlx5 driver, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmlx5-dev
libmlx5-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmlx5-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmlx5-dev *
You will get with libmlx5-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
