libmixlib-log-ruby1.8 software package provides Transitional package for ruby-mixlib-log, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmixlib-log-ruby1.8
libmixlib-log-ruby1.8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmixlib-log-ruby1.8 package were installed using the commands given below,
