libmime-types-perl software package provides Perl extension for determining MIME types and Transfer Encoding, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmime-types-perl
libmime-types-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmime-types-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmime-types-perl *
You will get with libmime-types-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
