libmikmod2-dev software package provides Portable sound library - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmikmod2-dev
libmikmod2-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmikmod2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmikmod2-dev *
You will get with libmikmod2-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
