libmia-2.0-8 software package provides library for 2D and 3D gray scale image processing, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmia-2.0-8
libmia-2.0-8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmia-2.0-8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmia-2.0-8 *
