libmetainf-services-java software package provides META-INF/services generator, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmetainf-services-java
libmetainf-services-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmetainf-services-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmetainf-services-java *
You will get with libmetainf-services-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
