libmercator-0.3-dev software package provides WorldForge terrain library - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmercator-0.3-dev
libmercator-0.3-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmercator-0.3-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmercator-0.3-dev *
You will get with libmercator-0.3-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
