libmedia1 software package provides Library to provide access to the Android Media HAL, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmedia1
libmedia1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmedia1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmedia1 *
You will get with libmedia1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
