libmedc1 software package provides Library to exchange meshed data (C version), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmedc1
libmedc1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmedc1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmedc1 *
You will get with libmedc1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
