How to Install liblvm2-dev software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

liblvm2-dev software package provides LVM2 libraries - development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install liblvm2-dev

liblvm2-dev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the liblvm2-dev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblvm2-dev *
