liblouisxml-dev software package provides Braille XML translation library - static libs and headers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblouisxml-dev
liblouisxml-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblouisxml-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblouisxml-dev *
You will get with liblouisxml-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
