How to uninstall or remove liblogforwarderutils2 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed liblogforwarderutils2 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove liblogforwarderutils2

Uninstall liblogforwarderutils2 including dependent package

If you would like to remove liblogforwarderutils2 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove liblogforwarderutils2

Use Purging liblogforwarderutils2

If you use with purge options to liblogforwarderutils2 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge liblogforwarderutils2

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove liblogforwarderutils2
