How to uninstall or remove liblog4cxx10 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed liblog4cxx10 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove liblog4cxx10

Uninstall liblog4cxx10 including dependent package

If you would like to remove liblog4cxx10 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove liblog4cxx10

Use Purging liblog4cxx10

If you use with purge options to liblog4cxx10 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge liblog4cxx10

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove liblog4cxx10
