liblingua-stem-snowball-perl software package provides Perl interface to Snowball stemmers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblingua-stem-snowball-perl
liblingua-stem-snowball-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblingua-stem-snowball-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblingua-stem-snowball-perl *
