How to uninstall or remove liblasi0 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed liblasi0 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove liblasi0 

Uninstall liblasi0 including dependent package

If you would like to remove liblasi0 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove liblasi0 
Use Purging liblasi0

If you use with purge options to liblasi0 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge liblasi0 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove liblasi0
