libkfilemetadata4 software package provides library for extracting file metadata, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libkfilemetadata4
libkfilemetadata4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libkfilemetadata4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libkfilemetadata4 *
You will get with libkfilemetadata4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
