libjpgalleg4-dev software package provides development files for the JPG loading addon for Allegro 4, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjpgalleg4-dev
libjpgalleg4-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjpgalleg4-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjpgalleg4-dev *
You will get with libjpgalleg4-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
