libjavassist-java software package provides library for editing bytecodes in Java, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjavassist-java
libjavassist-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjavassist-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjavassist-java *
You will get with libjavassist-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
