libitm1-dbg-ppc64el-cross software package provides GNU Transactional Memory Library (debug symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libitm1-dbg-ppc64el-cross
libitm1-dbg-ppc64el-cross is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libitm1-dbg-ppc64el-cross package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libitm1-dbg-ppc64el-cross *
You will get with libitm1-dbg-ppc64el-cross package name, version, architecture and description in a table
